Bruce Virgo

Bruce Virgo is an international maritime lawyer qualified in Australia, England/Wales & Scotland. Australian by birth, he has lived with his family in Edinburgh for over 20 years.

Following onset of symptoms in 2013, Bruce was diagnosed with a rarer form of MND in late 2014. He was the Head of Shipping at Gateley PLC’s London office until May 2016, when deterioration of his condition forced him to relinquish that full-time role. Since 2014 Bruce has participated in various research projects concerning MND and assisted with raising awareness of MND, both as a patient advocate and with fundraising.
