Suvankar Pal is a consultant neurologist with a special interest in neurodegenerative disorders. He is Co-Lead Investigator for the full MND-SMART trial and also Co-Principal Investigator for the Edinburgh Trial Centre at the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic.
His clinical and research interests include early and accurate diagnosis, evaluation of atypical presentations, biomarker development, genetics of neurodegenerative disorders and clinical trials.
He is co-lead of the Scottish Motor Neuron Disease Register (CARE-MND).
