Sarah Sunderrajan
Sarah joined the team in November 2024 as an Assistant Research & Clinical Trial Manager. She has a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, which she completed following her bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Hons.) at the University of East Anglia. It was through her NHS clinical placement during her postgraduate studies that she discovered her passion for advancing patient care through clinical trials.
Sarah is inspired by the pioneering work of MND-SMART, which has transformed the landscape of clinical drug trials and is widely regarded as the gold standard for its multi-arm adaptive design. She is particularly driven by MND-SMART’s focus on discovery science, aiming to unravel the complexity of the disease and identify biomarkers that could enable faster, more accurate diagnoses early in a patient’s prognosis, while paving the way for streamlined delivery of tailored interventions.
